We spent last night cruising down the Nile on a falukah (sail boat). Private boat, Egyptian sweets, and several bottles of wine...we love vacation and our awesome host!

We're going to Egypt!!!

Tomorrow (Wednesday), Michael and I leave for Egypt. I have been packed since Saturday. Michael still hasn't done laundry for the trip. But, as a friend noted, he'll still be ready to go before me.

We'll fly LA to Amsterdam for a fun 10 hour layover and then on to Cairo. We're not really sure how realiable the internet connections that we'll have available to us will be, and we're not sure how often we'll have them, but we're going to attempt to track our trek, here.

Pyramids, burning bushes, mummies, here we come! Woop Woop!
